BN1 Arts Level 3 Subsidiary and Extended Diplomas are full-time vocational qualifications for 16–19-year-olds. Taught by experienced professional tutors in our industry-standard studios in Central Brighton.

For music performers, termly performances will be held at fantastic local venues such as Komedia, The Old Market, The Latest Music Bar, and Patterns.
Producers will have the chance to work in commercial recording studios and collaborate with industry professionals such as publishers, record companies, and media creatives. As well as work on the Live Sound elements of productions and shows.
Our performing arts students will get to showcase their training with regular live performances in-house and at local theatres.
BN1 Arts Vocational Qualifications are designed with the industry in mind, providing practical, hands-on experience that prepares you for a successful career in the creative arts. Our curriculum is also designed to help you build your online professional profile, create video content, and develop your brand and audience.
To ensure you get the most out of your time with us, you'll have regular encounters with the professional workplace.

As a part of casting techniques, Performing Arts students will develop effective self-taping skills alongside their regular live performances in-house and at local theatres. These experiences culminate in a West-End showcase, where they will perform for invited industry guests, marking the end of their two-year program.

These live shows and recording experiences are a great opportunity for all BN1 students to gain real-world professional performance experience and create amazing performances and pieces of work for peers, friends, families, and the wider community.
