Evening Classes at BN1 Arts Centre

BN1 ARTS CENTRE

A Multicultural Inclusive, Diverse Arts Centre For The Whole Community. The Professional and Community Collective.

JOIN US FOR SINGERS NIGHT

Our Singers’ Night: A Celebration of Talent and Community - Sunday 16th February.

Singers’ Night is an electrifying platform for talented vocalists to take the spotlight and showcase their artistry. Open to singers of all genres—whether you love Soul, Funk, Reggae, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Rock, or something entirely unique—this evening is for everyone with a passion for singing. Whether you’re an amateur exploring your craft or a seasoned professional, as long as you can sing, you’re in!

The evening comes alive with our dynamic four-piece house band, featuring Keys, Bass, Guitar, and Percussion. Under the spirited hosting of Siggi Mwasote and Adriana Lord, the stage is set for a night of unforgettable performances. Singers will be accompanied by the band unless they prefer to bring their own musical arrangement, ensuring a tailored and professional experience.

These nights have quickly become a cornerstone of our artistic calendar, creating a joyful and uplifting environment for performers and audiences alike. Singers of all ages and levels have graced the stage, from young, budding talent finding their voice in a safe, non-judgmental space, to seasoned professionals who bring their expertise and wisdom to share with the next generation.

The atmosphere is both relaxed and professional, offering Sussex’s finest vocal talent a chance to connect, express themselves, and inspire. Each night celebrates the vibrant music community in our region and leaves audiences invigorated by the sheer diversity and quality of talent on display.

We’re proud to provide a nurturing space where creativity thrives, and we look forward to watching Singers’ Night continue to grow as a hub for artistic expression and connection. Whether you’re performing or cheering from the audience, this is an evening you won’t want to miss!

Our next Singers Night will be on Sunday 16th February.

HOW IT WORKS

Are you ready to showcase your talent at our next Singers’ Night? To secure your spot, simply email artscentre@bn1arts.co.uk with the following details:

  • Your song choices: one up-tempo number and one slow-tempo ballad.
  • Sheet music (if available) and the key in which you'd like to perform each song.

Depending on the number of performers on the night, you may have the opportunity to perform one or both of your selected pieces.

If you're planning to perform an original song, we kindly ask you to email your music in advance so our band can prepare and fully capture the spirit of your work.

All participating artists will arrive at 5:00 PM for a brief run-through with our incredible four-piece house band. The main event kicks off at 7:00 PM, where you’ll have the chance to bring your artistry to life in front of a supportive and enthusiastic audience.

Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to perform in a professional yet relaxed environment, connect with fellow artists, and share your voice with a vibrant community. Spots fill quickly, so email us today and get ready to shine!
