Our mission is to bring together our multicultural community, professional and aspiring artists alike, through programmes that celebrate diversity, champion representation, and combat isolation. 

BN1 Arts Centre CIC is where creativity thrives, cultures connect, and the magic of the arts brings people together. Serving as a vibrant space for aspiring and professional creatives alike, we celebrate the diversity of our community by offering opportunities for all to learn, collaborate, and be inspired.

Meet BN1 Arts Centre CIC Artistic Director Lorraine Davies

At the heart of BN1 Arts Centre CIC is the inspiring leadership of Lorraine Le Blanc Davis—a renowned choreographer, performer, and lecturer with a remarkable career dedicated to the transformative power of the arts.
With an exceptional track record in fostering social cohesion and youth rehabilitation through dance, Lorraine brings her wealth of expertise to every aspect of BN1 Arts Centre. Her global career has seen her perform in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including the West End, and her choreography spans theatre, musicals, music videos, dance productions, and solo performances. As an educator, Lorraine has taught at some of the UK’s top-ranking conservatoires, shaping the next generation of performers.
A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, Lorraine is deeply committed to developing programs and curricula that reflect and serve our multicultural society. Her mission is to ensure that BN1 Arts Centre CIC is a vibrant and inclusive space where creativity knows no boundaries and everyone feels welcome.

Through her leadership, BN1 Arts Centre CIC stands as a Professional and Community Collective, offering an inspiring hub where professionals and aspiring artists alike can connect, create, and thrive. Lorraine’s vision is a testament to the power of the arts to unify and uplift communities, and her dedication is at the core of everything we do.

Our inclusive cultural programme is designed to engage people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, creating a dynamic environment where everyone can explore their artistic potential. Alongside our Further Education College, which operates during the week, BN1 Arts Centre has cultivated a welcoming evening and weekend space brimming with opportunities for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned professional or someone stepping into the arts for the first time, there’s something here for you:


Evening Classes and Workshops: Explore a variety of disciplines, including: Contemporary, Jazz, Screen Acting, Silver Screen Tap, Soul Acappella Family Choir, Heels, Kangoo Fitness and Commercial, catering to all levels of experience, from beginners to professionals.


Weekend Events and Entertainment: Experience the joy of our BN1 Weekend events, such as our ever-popular Singers’ Night, set in our cozy, licensed reception bar-perfect for a relaxed evening of incredible talent and uplifting performances. Our Scratch Nights will return and we have our new Artist Spotlight Night, Request & Wine plus Comedy and theatre performances.

BN1 Arts Centre is a  catalyst for connection, representation, successful collaboration and community cohesionWe create opportunities for locals to develop and expand their creative skills, empowering individuals through the arts. Everyone is welcome to join, learn, and be inspired.
