Her most recent appointment was that of Principal Lecturer for Musical Theatre & Dance at Performers Brighton formerly ICTheatre Brighton. She also served as the Head of Opportunities and Inclusion where she was able to increase diversity in the faculty and developed outreach work to increase the global majority student body. In her post she was integral in the development of and made essential contributions to the current, diverse educationally inclusive Contemporary Musical Theatre Degree. Lorraine is known as an innovator and skilled collaborator and collaborated in the re-design of the UK's first Hip Hop Artistry BA for ICTheatre Manchester with JP Omari. Lorraine continues to work on the development of programmes that are truly inclusive and diverse and represent and serve the community. 

Over the years Lorraine has been an educator for dance at some of the best conservatoires, universities and colleges in England including.  Arts Educational, Millennium Dance, London Studio Center, Dance Works, Urdang Academy, Lewisham College, Scream Studios, Old Market, Bird, Performers, BN1 Arts, Impuls Tanz (Austria) Limoges Tap Festival (France). A Summer School tutor all over the UK and Stomp Workshop Leader all over the world. Lorraine also has a PGCE

As a choreographer, she is the creator of over 30 new works, having choreographed across stage, film and TV. Original choreographic works include critically acclaimed Mercy Mercy Mercy, Foot and Vibes and Visions. Other notable works as an invited choreographer include the first ‘Nubian Steps’ at Queen Elizabeth Hall, ‘New York on Tap’ at the Royal Festival Hall, Dr Martins Trade Shows (Birmingham NEC), ‘Sammy The Musical’ at Stratford Theatre Royal and National Tour, and ‘Vacuums’ Feature Film shot In Rahova Studios Romania. She has also choreographed the video for Omar There's Nothing Like This and musicals Anything Goes with director Ray Schell and Twelfth Night with director Franny Rafferty at ICTheatre Brighton.

As a performer Lorraine has worked extensively nationally and internationally in Theatre, Film, TV, Corporate Trade shows, Music Videos, Opera and Panto! Some of her performance work includes groundbreaking productions such as the West End Musicals King, The Cotton Club, and Stomp (Performer and Rehearsal Director in UK /West End and the USA). Lorraine's other appearances include Top of the Pops, Brit Awards, Royal Variety Show, Live at the Palladium, Blue Peter, Paul O’Grady Show, The Graham Norton Show, Clothes Show Live (Birmingham NEC), halftime Performance Boston Celtics and the Gala performance in Monte Carlo for The Super Cup (winners of the Champions Leauge against the Uefa cup winners). She has performed with Lost and Found Orchestra (Brighton Dome, Sydney Opera House, Royal Festival Hall, USA tour), New York on Tap (Queen Elizabeth Hall), Sammy (Stratford Theatre Royal and national tour), Jonzi D’s Bustin Moves (Spitz London), Funny Black Women on the Edge (Stratford Theatre Royal), Carmen the Opera (Birmingham NEC and European tour). and Anansi Fantasia (Carlton Television).
