Why Partner?
It has never been clearer to see the role of the creative industry within society. From highlighting miscarriages of justice through TV drama, to raising millions of pounds for charity through music concerts, the creative arts are fundamental to delivering a message that reaches directly into our homes, performance spaces and hearts.
At BN1 Arts we believe everyone should have the opportunity to access creative arts training, and we are on a mission to ensure that can happen.
The current emphasis on Progress 8, coupled with budget cuts, has created barriers to entry for creative arts education in many schools. A lack of support, resources, and financial backing has left schools unable to offer essential subjects like music and performing arts. The cost of running creative arts courses and maintaining resources such as mac suites with logic programs, music rooms full of a variety of musical instruments, theatres, and dance studios is simply too high for most schools to bear without adequate government funding.

What we need
We need to fund specialist one–off classes to provide the space and equipment for the class. This means guitars, sprung floors, mixing decks for DJs and so much more specialist equipment.
